“Hello! My name is Lessly and I’m a first-gen student studying Data Science at Smith College. I was born in Oaxaca, Mexico and I grew up in Kingston, Pennsylvania. I’m also a DREAMER with hopes to give thanks back to the communities that have supported me throughout my journey, such as the Golden Door Scholars organization.”

“I’m fundraising to save up for my first car. A lack of work authorization has made it difficult for me to make and save money. In addition to tuition costs, being in school has made it difficult for me to jumpstart my small business with resin jewelry until summer break. Any donations until then would allow me to achieve these goals sooner and allow me to focus my energy towards my career.”
